ULMER WERKZEUGSCHLEIFTECHNIK GmbH & Co. KG based in Ulm-Einsingen, near Highway A8 that connects Stuttgart and Munich, was formed in 1998 from J.E. REINECKER Maschinen- und Werkzeugfabrik, which was founded in Chemnitz in 1859. We still consider ourselves bound to the company‘s philosophy of „Precision and Service“ and we are proud that the family still holds responsibility among the shareholders and in management.

Our customers from the cutting tool manufacturing and re-sharpening sectors do not just receive quality and precision; but also a partnership that ensures flexibility and specific technical solutions to varied needs.

We build grinding machines for universal manufacturing and re-sharpening of precision cutting tools made of carbide and HSS with complex geometries. Extensive optional modules provide solutions from one-off manufacture to medium-sized production runs.

High-resolution measuring circuits, powerful spindle drives, a solid finish and low maintenance ensure high productivity and availability. The modern NUMROTO® graphic user interface is used worldwide and is supported in many languages. 

With many years of experience in the application technology sector and good development skills, we provide a supportive partnership for our customers. Services such as worldwide remote maintenance via the machine control system, high availability of spare parts and service personnel for the mechanical and electronic areas, along with application-technology support and maintenance contracts are a focus for us.
